TMA Northeast Career Opportunities program

What is the Northeast TMA Career Opportunities Program? 

The TMA Northeast Career Opportunities Program (“COP”) is a program that utilizes the extensive database of the TMA Northeast Chapter in a manner that is helpful to its members who are either seeking new career opportunities or members who are seeking to fill positions within their specific organization(s). 

How does COP work? 

COP is designed to be as user friendly as possible for all constituents by being simple to access and to place career opportunity postings. The COP Listing Board is located on the home page of the TMA Northeast website with links to detailed opportunity descriptions.  Organizations who wish to post their opportunities on the Listing Board simply complete a form with the chapter administrator, pay a modest monthly fee, and the opportunity will be posted for the term purchased unless notification is given by the listing organization that the position has been filled. There are a limited number of Listing Board opportunities (12) due to administrative and space constraints. 

Where else will the Listing Board be visible and how frequently will it be published?
 

As well as being on the TMA Northeast Chapter home page, the Listing Board is part of the chapter email blast template, which is the primary communication vehicle of the TMA Northeast Chapter.  As a result, the Listing Board will be visible to all recipients of TMA Northeast Chapter email blast communications, which typically are sent out at least twice per month.  The mailing list includes members and non-members.

Can any organization place an opportunity on the Listing? 

Yes, with the only difference being a discounted monthly fee for chapter sponsors and companies with TMA members - an added value to TMA membership. In the event of a full Listing Board, priority will be given to chapter sponsors and companies with TMA members. 

How frequently is the Listing updated? 

The listing is updated once per month, on or around the first of each month. 

What are the fees and why are there fees for members? 

The fees are designed to cover the costs associated with maintaining the website and the administrative time in administering the COP in an ongoing professional manner. Further, the fees assure that the Listing Board opportunities are genuine and continue to remain available.  

The fees are as follows:     
Sponsors: $100.00/month or $250.00/3 months - paid in advance     
Companies with TMA Members: $250.00/month or $650/3 months - paid in advance 
Non-Member Companies: $350.00/month or $900/3 months - paid in advance 

How does an organization place an opportunity advertisement on the Listing? 

The organization must complete a Listing form and provide a company logo image to the chapter administrator, and a credit card or other form of acceptable payment for the opportunity Listing at least 10 business days prior to the first of the month.
