Dear Fellow Turnaround Professionals,

I'm pleased and honored to have been selected as the 2012 TMA Northeast Chapter President. My first act as President is to thank Mike Goldberg for all the great work he did. The Northeast Chapter has grown into one of the most vibrant chapters in the country and my goal is to continue working to expand on the great work of my predecessors.

2012 will be a big year for our chapter. First, we will have TMA members from across the country coming to Boston for the Annual National Conference. This is a rare opportunity for members to meet professionals from around the country and begin to make relationships that can potentially pay dividends for years to come. Everyone should be excited about this – come join us.

Second, we are working to develop a lot of great events for the entire turnaround community.

A key goal of my tenure is to improve our communications with the turnaround and business community at large. To achieve this we need your help, your ideas and your candor. Involvement by the members is what makes our chapter great, so please get involved. You won’t regret it.

The Northeast Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association is a group of turnaround professionals including bankers, lawyers, accountants, investors, and academics, that meet to discuss issues and needs relevant to corporate renewal and recovery and for the mutual promotion of excellence in the professional community.

The TMA Northeast Chapter is one of the three largest chapters in the country.
