Dear Fellow Turnaround Professionals,

TMA remains committed to outreach within our restructuring community, with the goal of serving as the convening organization for turnaround consultants, attorneys, bankers and other professionals throughout New England. To improve our reach and to service a growing network of practitioners, we have structured high-quality educational and networking programs for a wide variety of our member constituencies. Our Future Leaders group is increasingly active, hosting informal networking events for our younger professionals. The TMA WIRE (Women in Restructuring) Committee offers events  geared toward women professionals (though men are very welcome at their events). Our Educational Committee hosts periodic events that “drill down” on issues facing workout professionals. Our Boston area programming committee has had a simply stellar year so far, starting with our Celtics Party and Annual Wine Tasting event, and culminating in our Spring Gala and our our annual Holiday Party at the Taj Hotel. Our three Satellite chapters in Portland ME, Providence RI, and Worcester MA continue to bring the TMA message to our colleagues in outlying areas.

Offering this broad platform of programming and networking opportunities to our fellow professionals requires significant volunteerism. I am so impressed with our Board of Directors, and our operating Committees, who work very hard to make this Chapter the success that it is. Of course, we always need more hands "on deck". If you would like to volunteer to work with our Chapter leadership we would welcome the chance to speak with you. Please feel free to contact me directly, or send an email to Julie Conroy, our Chapter Administrator.

Thank you for your involvement in TMA – we look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

Sincerely,

Michael Goldberg
